I just bought this SeaLife underwater camera that also has video capability. Figured it wouldnt take good video, but it did pretty good for a little underwater camera.

well, first off, i thank you for not replying ever again, for your attempts at wit and argument are nothing short of ridiculous. you managed to turn a simple difference of opinion into a childish argument.
I will use small words from this point on to keep your confusion at a bare minimum. Its called spearfishing because you use spears. Not everyone cares about what you call “sport”. Some people just like diving and some people just like eating fresh fish. no be a good lil boy and shut up.

ask any spearfisherman worth his weight about using tanks for spearfishing and he’ll tell you its frowned upon. Any retard with tanks can lay in wait on the bottom for half an hour til a fish comes along and nail it. The sport is in the diving and trying to hold your breath and laying in ambush.

real speargun …
real speargun fisherman use spears. thats why they are called speargun fisherman. some people prefer freediving and that is awesome, but it in no way belittles the act of pointing a projectile at a fish, pulling the trigger, and then eating fish on shore. not everyone spear fishes to prove a point or show how great they are. some people do it simply cuz they’re hungry for some fish.

real speargun fisherman dont use tanks, it takes the sport out of the fishing, but if its only for defence against sharks i suppose thats ok

I both freedive spearfish and for anything over 50′ use tanks… I was actually lobstering that day, but with big bull sharks around, I wont ever go down without a gun… Nothing that day but nurse sharks and a couple small lemons, but I have had to poke more than one Bull in the nose that got a bit too interested in me…
